希望攻读计算机科学专业，获得计算机科学硕士学位(MCS)或计算机科学哲学博士学位(PhD)的学生，可以在电气工程与计算机科学学院(EECS)提供的联合课程中进修 在渥太华卡尔顿计算机科学学院(OCICS)的主持下，在渥太华大学和卡尔顿大学计算机科学学院任教。 该研究所负责监督这些程序，并为研究生计算机科学教育中的大学之间的交互提供框架。 除了两个计算机科学计划的教职员工之外，该研究所还拥有其他部门具有计算机科学专业知识的成员。

　　计算机科学学院是硕士一级生物信息学合作计划的参与单位。
