This programme aims to develop the skills required to enable independent practice of endodontics at a level above special interest but below specialist. It is studied either full-time over one year or part-time over two years and has a strong clinical bias.The programme is suitable for general dental practitioners who wish to extend their knowledge and skills of endodontics in order to prepare for a career embracing practice of endodontics.Students benefit from a comprehensive curriculum, opportunities for self-directed learning, a clinical laboratory techniques course, emphasis on integration of theoretical and clinical aspects, and prioritised reading recommendations. The broad flexible approach allows scope for the pursuit of individual academic interests in a state of the art facility.
