Register online

As you have accepted your offer for the IFP course, you must register online before the start of your IFP course. You can register now. The deadline for registering online is 11 September.

1. Your online Certificate of Registration

2. Your Checklist

1. The online Certificate of Registration contains your username and password, which is necessary for computer access while you are studying at the University of Bristol CELFS. Please keep your username and password safe, and do not give your password to anyone else. This page also contains a section for staff at the University of Bristol to stamp (three circles at the bottom of the page), after your passport, visa and supporting documents have been checked.

2. The Registration Checklist is a list of all of the documents you must bring with you to register at CELFS (for example: your IELTS certificate). These documents must be the originals.

To register online you will need your student number, so please have this number ready.

When registering online, please note:

·While studying at the CELFS, you will be part of the Faculty of Arts. When you progress on to your main degree programme (next September), you will probably change Faculty

·Please ensure your term/contract address and home address are correct. This is very important!

·The MOST important thing is that you print out the online Certificate of Registration and the Registration Checklist at the end!

IFP tuition fees

All IFP students should make arrangements about how to pay their remaining IFP course fees before they arrive on the course.

If you choose to live in private accommodation, you must obtain a tenancy agreement, which has been signed by both you and the person you are renting from. This contract is proof of wher you are living. You will need this contract if you want to open a bank account in the UK.

You must bring the following things with you to the registration session:

1. A print out of your ‘online Certificate of Registration’

2. A print out of your ‘Registration Checklist’

3. Your passport

4. Your original IELTS certificate (as listed on your CAS)

5. Your original High School Transcript and Certificate (as listed on your CAS)

6.A pen and paper.

7.Your home address and your Bristol address written down. And the contact details for the member of your family that you would like to nominate as your Emergency Contact (or Next of Kin).

Late Arrivals

CELFS requires all IFP students to arrive on the first day of the IFP – Monday 19 September 2016.It is extremely disadvantageous for students to arrive late for the IFP.

If you cannot arrive on the first day of the course, we require you to email us before the first day with a reason for your late arrival and the date on which you expect to arrive. Please include your full name, student number and date you expect to arrive and email CELFS directly (celfs-ifp@bristol.ac.uk).

We will not accept any students more than 2 weeks late (after the start date: 19 September).
