悉尼大学8月Admission Update，内容如下

1. 即日起，悉尼大学Admission会按照如下要求审理高考学生直录本科

2. 目前针对S1 2025的OSAP已经开放申请，请知悉代理务必要确认学生可以在截止日之前补交最终学术材料才可以申请OSAP。

3. Master of Engineering 和Master of Professional Engineering课程更新，将部分stream更改成specialisation

4. 目前所有现存的Computer Science postgraduate degree的无条件录取通知书都被加上了21天的付费截止日，烦请提醒有意向的学生尽快完成付费接受流程。

5. Master of Speech Language Pathology由于巨大的申请量，关闭了S1 2025的申请，一旦出现空位，无条件录取通知书会根据学术排位来发放。

6. 从2025年开始，Master of Pharmacy的实习时间从10周（350小时）调整为8周（280小时）。

7. 悉尼大学公布了S1 2025的重要时间节点，其中申请截止日是2024年12月1日

Gaokao Schedule Enhancement

Recently, we received feedback concerning our Gaokao score schedule.

Based on our currently
published Gaokao schedule, the conversion percentages between each Gaokao score are quite large. For instance, a score below 70% is converted to 525, while a score below 75% is converted to 562.5. However, there is no clear guidance on how to assess scores falling between these ranges, leading to confusion among our applicants and agents.

To resolve this issue, we have developed an updated Gaokao score schedule. Effective immediately, the Admissions team will use the following schedule to accurately assess Gaokao qualifications.

Postgraduate

Postgraduate SAP and OSAP Process

In Semester 2, 2024, many students received their unconditional offers through the Special Admission process. By participating in this process and signing the SAP/OSAP request form, both agents and students acknowledge their responsibility to provide the final documents once they become available.

We appreciate your ongoing efforts in following up
on any outstanding final documents with your students. It is important to remind them that even though they have received an unconditional offer, they must still submit their final documents by the specified deadline. Please ensure they monitor their emails for any reminders we send regarding these documents.

We are now accepting OSAP requests for the Semester 1, 2025 intake. To secure an early S1 2025 unconditional offer, and to help your students to plan their study with us, please submit the completed request form and all required documents as early as you can.

Master of Engineering and Master of Professional Engineering changes

From 2025, the Faculty of Engineering has made some changes to simplify
and clarify the streams offered in the master’s degrees in engineering, including converting some streams into specialisations.

These changes align with the University’s commitment to deliver exceptional educational experiences that align with student and industry needs, and to ensure our students are equipped with the quality learning experiences required for success in their future careers.

All students that were affected by the changes were informed and we have updated their 2025 applications.

Below is a summary of the streams that will be discontinued, alongside the specialisations that will be offered and the streams these will be available within:

Computer Science quota program

All Unconditional offers issued to Computer Science degrees (including embedded Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Advanced Stream) will now have 21 days to accept their offers. Students who received an offer previously without a deadline have been issued an updated offer with the deadline to complete acceptance. Please inform your students to accept the offer before the deadline if they are willing to study the degree

Master of Speech Language Pathology

Due to the overwhelming number of applications we received for the Master of Speech Language Pathology for semester 1 2025, we have now closed the application
for this intake. Unconditional offers will only be released if we have further places available to the highest ranked applicants.

Master of Pharmacy changes

The Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney has recently made a change to the Master of Pharmacy, which is designed to improve the student experience. The change includes a reduction in the clinical placement hours required within the master's degree for new students commencing from 2025.

The reduction has been based on student feedback on the need to streamline the clinical placement within the Master of Pharmacy, and this change will ensure students have time for a break between semesters to better manage their commitments.

Previously, students who studied the Master of Pharmacy CRICOS code 05004D were required to undertake a total of 350 hours (10 weeks) of clinical placement during their candidature, but from Semester 1, 2025 onwards, new students commencing their studies will be required to complete a total of 280 hours (8 weeks). This change means that students will still complete enough placement hours across a variety of settings and in line with the Australian Pharmacy Council accreditation requirements, whilst reducing the total hours required to be spent in clinical placements during their candidature.

We will be writing to applicants and offer holders for the Master of Pharmacy CRICOS code 05004D commencing in Semester 1, 2025 to advise that they will have their applications transferred across to be
assessed for admission into the Master of Pharmacy CRICOS code 116243F for Semester 1, 2025.

Admissions Key Dates for S1, 2025

Please ensure that all incoming students understand the importance of being enrolled and attending their classes in person starting from the commencement date.

Due to ongoing delays in student visa application processing, we encourage your students to submit their applications as soon as possible, and accept their offers to submit their visa
applications as soon as practical. Prompt action will give them the best chance of having their student visas approved in time for the semester start.

The Admissions Team has also recently updated the application closing dates. Please refer to the below key dates for Semester 1, 2025:
