Updates to scholarship conditions from Semester 2

Dear General,

From Semester 2, 2024 we are updating our scholarship conditions. This is to help encourage genuine international students to succeed at UTS College and articulate to UTS. 

Who does this apply to?
International students newly commencing any academic program (UTS Foundation Studies, diploma or Pre-Masters) at UTS College from Semester 2 onward, who have been offered a scholarship.

What has changed? 
To remain eligible to receive their scholarship, students must:

• pass all course subjects
• maintain satisfactory attendance of their course each semester as part of visa requirements.

Scholarships will be applied in the last semester of study. Any student who has not met attendance and academic requirements may have their scholarhip offer removed.

Next steps
Please advise your students with scholarship offers, who are newly commencing an academic program from Semester 2 onward, that they must meet the conditions of their scholarship to receive the fee reduction in their final semester.
