Here are some reminders to pass on to your students to ensure we have a smooth lead-up to the start of the trimester on 1 July 2024 (Orientation week).
> Pay fees
> Apply for a visa
> Enrol in courses
> Book accommodation
If a student is not able to start at Trimester 2, you can submit a deferral request on the Application Portal for the next available intake. |

Cold winds may mean that summer in Wellington is over but we still have a lot to look forward to, starting with having new students join us in July for the Trimester 2 intake.

Get ready for Trimester 2
Here are some reminders to pass on to your students to ensure we have a smooth lead-up to the start of the trimester on 1 July 2024 (Orientation week).
> Pay fees
Fees can be paid online and students receive the Summary of Deposit a few days after. The fees to pay are on the Offer of Place - make sure to accept the student's offer of place on the Application Portal.
> Apply for a visa
Student visas take up to 10 weeks to be processed so apply as soon as possible. See the Immigration New Zealand website for information on how to apply.
> Enrol in courses
Students can enrol online via Pūaha, the student portal.
> Book accommodation
Accommodation applications are open now - students should book as early as possible due to high demand.
If a student is not able to start at Trimester 2, you can submit a deferral request on the Application Portal for the next available intake.

Changes to Master of Professional Business Analysis
Due to changes in the structure of the academic year, we plan to no longer offer the Trimester 3 (November) intake as of this year for the Master of Professional Business Analysis [MBusAn].
We offer current applicants some alternatives: to either start the MBusAn programme in Trimester 2 (July) of this year or to defer to Trimester 1 (February) 2025.
If neither option is suitable for a current applicants but they still want to do the MBusAn, please let us know.
The MBusAn is a great conversion Master's for students looking at gaining new skills in business and systems analysis.

Application Portal now live
Most partners have already been invited to join our new Portal which allows you to easily submit new applications and check the status on existing ones.
If you don't have access yet, email us at international@vuw.ac.nz to get onboarded.
The Portal is a key element of the admissions journey for new students and it aims to make the application process smoother for everyone.
