澳洲国立大学是澳洲八大名校之一，2017的世界排名为20名；可从事的工作：
问： 澳洲国立大学翻译到底难不难学，好像有点遥不可及?
评价：其实翻译专业包括了3个方向，笔译的中翻英，英翻中，口译(双向)。你只要通过一项就可以拿到移民需要的60分专业分。大部分学生是通过英翻中的，毕竟中文是母语，表达起来可以很准确，所以考核也最容易通过。很多客户是通过翻译途径完成移民申请的，其中有高中应届毕业生，在澳学完国际商务贸易、传媒、教育、计算机、语言学等本科或者1.5年硕士的毕业生等。他们的成功说明，翻译不是遥不可及的。个人认为，只要你喜欢翻译专业，有雅思5.5的水准和一定的母语中文能力，完全可以选择翻译;退一步讲，翻译对你的语言能力的提高是全面的，你或多或少会掌握很多对你未来生活工作有用的语言技巧，所以这种投资也是很合算的。 记得看到一份报告，未来全球十大紧缺专业就包括了专业翻译，在澳大利亚，专业翻译的收费是每100个字为25-50澳元，如果您通过了专业翻译考试，就可以对外收费提供翻译服务了。当然更多的人是做业余翻译freelancer，他们另外还有正式的工作，比如咨询顾问、大学老师、文案人员、营销师、导游、移民律师、注册会计师等等职业。所以翻译专业对解决移民和就业来说，都是经济实惠安全可靠的。
